10 ml Jojoba Oil

2 Drops sandalwood

2 Drops ylang ylang oil

2 Drops sweet orange

1 Drop vanilla absolute

LOTUS TIDE

Ingredient Approximate%

Tangerine EO 10%(top note)

Lotus absolute 15-20%(heart note)

Ambergris (or Ambroxan) 5-10%(base note)

Benzoin resinoid 10-15%(base note & fixative)

Ethanol/Perfumer’s alcohol 50-60%

optional:sandalwood or light floral to blend 5-10%

Let it macerate for 4-6 weeks for full integration

SUMMER BREW

Fig & Nectarine Spiced Wine (4 Litre Batch)

Ingreients:

  • 2 LBS (900g) fresh figs ( quartered,stems removed)
  • 3-4 ripe nectarines( sliced, pits removed)
  • 1.5 cups barley fig paste ( acts as sugar+body)
  • 2-3 cinnamon sticks
  • 1-2 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp yeast nutrient( optional but recommended)
  • 1/4 tsp wine tannin( optional-balances sweetness
  • Wine yeast ( Lalvin 71B-1122 or EC-1118 are excellent)
  • Sugar (as needed to reach OG -1.090 for -12% ABV)
  • Water to top up to 4 liters(preferably spring or filtered)

Add lemon juice( 1 tbsp) to sharpen acidity slightly.

Sweeten post-fermentation with honey or sugar if it goes too dry/

Age with Oak chips for more depth.

Expect a semi-dry to sweet wine, rich and full-bodied,with:

  • Deep fruitiness from fig & nectarine
  • Warm spices from cinnamon
  • Smooth notes from vanilla and barley
